My name is Georgia and I am the founder of Matcha Studios. I am a passionate Mat and Reformer Pilates instructor, with further accreditations in Pre Natal, Post Partum and Children's Pilates alongside my level 3 Personal Trainer. I work alongside other instructors here at Matcha to give you classes that encourage and inspire you to lead a healthy lifestyle. We support positive change within your body and mind by focusing on correct Pilates technique whilst moving your body.
We are the first boutique, mat based Pilates studio in Chesterfield who truly value the power and versatility of mat work... delivered by experienced instructors who have a true passion for what and how they teach.

Mat Pilates
Pilates is a mind, body, and spirit practice with benefits that include improved posture, better coordination and balance, increased lung capacity, improved concentration and focus, increased body awareness and stress management. It is a low-impact exercise class that can help alleviate pain, strengthen the core and lengthen and tone the entire body.
As you progress in your practice, you will notice improvements in breathing, focus, and body awareness.
Reformer Pilates
Reformer Pilates uses the resistance of springs and the body's own weight to perform controlled exercises. The exercises focus on using functional movement patterns to build core strength, weight loss, and improve functional mobility. It can also help with posture, balance, and stress relief.

BARRE
Barre is a workout technique inspired by elements of ballet, yoga, and Pilates. It focuses on low-impact, high-intensity movements designed to strengthen your body in ways that few other workouts can. By incorporating stretching, this full-body workout also develops agility and flexibility.
